Friends of St Cecilia's Hall and Museum

WIND INSTRUMENT WORKSHOP DRAWINGS

Workshop drawings and photographs of instruments in the Edinburgh University Collection of Historic Musical Instruments are sold by the Friends of St Cecilia's Hall and Museum for the information of historical instrument makers and researchers. They are intended to allow detailed study of the construction of historic instruments.

Where playing pitches have been indicated by the person who prepared the drawing, these are included in this list. In other cases, the playing pitches recorded in the Catalogue of the Collection have been used in this list. See the Catalogue for other playing pitches recorded by the cataloguers.

Photograph views are described from a position facing the player.

All prices given are in pounds sterling and apply from 1 January 2023.
